It is the second largest district of Antalya by the bank of the Manavgat River, Türkiye’s most regular river, and the Manavgat Waterfall, one of the most majestic waterfalls. It is a highly developed district with archaeological sites and holiday resorts. Thanks to its long summer season, natural and historical beauties, it receives a considerable attention from both foreign tourists and local holidaymakers. Among the attractions worth visiting in Manavgat are the Köprülü Canyon, which was declared as a national park in 1973, and the Ancient City of Selge, one of the mountainous cities of the Pisidia region that is located at an altitude of 1250 meters from the sea on the southern slopes of the Taurus Mountains.
